Koochiching County will go ahead with the method of bonding $3.6 million needed toward the total cost of the Island View Sewer project.
The money offsets the assessment and debt serving charges to residents that won't begin to be recouped by the County until 2019.
Consultant Mike Busbany says because of it, he's recommending the county not pay any principal in the first year of the borrowing.
While agreeing to bonding, County commissioners still want to look further at the pay-back details.
Most of the $20-million project is being funding through federal and state money.
