Rainy River Man Nabbed For Stunt Driving

A man from the town of Rainy River is facing a charge of stunt driving.

OPP say the 24-year-old in a vehicle that was clocked doing 143 kilometres an hour in a 90 km/h zone in the Marathon area earlier this month.

He was one of 10 drivers nabbed for doing similar speeds in the same area over the past four months.

The charge comes with a mandatory seven day licence suspension and, if convicted, fines of up to $10-thousand and 6 demerit points on the license.
