Romaine Lettuce Ecoli Outbreak Declared Over

An updated notice from the Public Health Agency of Canada on the warnings of eating romaine lettuce due to an ecoli outbreak.

They say the outbreak appears to be over and the risk to Canadians is now low.

There have been 42 confirmed cases of people becoming ill by eating the lettuce, 8 in Ontario, but no new cases since December 12.

The cause of contamination has not been identified.
