Organizer Bill Michl is expecting a good number of participants with about 50 people expected.
While temperatures are expected to reach minus 20 C on the day of the jump, Michl says the jumpers have the protection of a heated shack before them make the quick plunge into Rainy Lake.
Michl says the weather will be more a concern for spectators who come to watch.
Registration Monday starts at 11 a.m. with the first jumpers taking the plunge at 1 p.m. that afternoon.
