Fort Frances Muskies football team was victorious in their homecoming game.

They beat Tec Voc 39-32.

 

Members of the Fort Frances Muskies Cross Country Run team was in Kenora where Alexia Gate won the Grade 7 and 8 girls event with Emma Toriseva was a second back in second place.

Caden McGinnes was second in the Grade 7 and 8 boys race.

The team also finished in a tie with Dryden for the overall championship.

Here's the top five finishers in each of the races.

Fort Frances Muskies fall court teams earned just a single win in their home series with Kenora's Beaver Brae Broncos.

The junior basketball team improved their record to 3-0 with a 67-40 win over the Broncos.

Grace Petsnick led the Muskies with 18 points.

Joanna Empey added 10.

The senior team was beaten 42-34.

In boys volleyball, the juniors took their opponents to five games before losing out.

The seniors were lost in four.

 

International Falls Broncos varsity boys cross country run team was 3rd while the girls squad finished 9th at a meet in Hibbing.

John Cowman had the best finish for the boys in 12th.

Avery Sivonen was tops among the girls in 18th.

 

Kiss My Pass earned straight set wins over Gillons and Duck and Dive to move into first place in the Fort Frances Women's Volleyball League.

Last week's leader, How I Set Your Mother did not play when games at St. Michael School had to be postponed.

That allowed No Diggity, who beat Scared Hitless adn Let's Talk About Sets both in straight sets, Take A Hit, who beat Scared Hitless and Let's Talk About Sets and  Gillons, who beat Safe Sets, to move into a tie for second with How I Set Your Mother in the standings.

In other games, Safe Sets beat Duck and Dive 2-0.
